Happybot

During my semester abroad in Seoul (KOR) we developed this prototype for a companion robot. I worked as the designer of a six-person team of computer scientists and engineers. Our goal was to build a functioning robot, capable of reading and reacting to a subjects emotions and ultimately making them happy. Happybot achieves this by showing funny .gifs from the internet, playing music, dancing and its expressive and overly cute face.
